Evaluate a working demo with a reproducible task
Pick one task, record the input and expected result, and distinguish a live capability from a mock or placeholder.
Evaluate a demo by trying a concrete task. Decide the input and expected result before exploring every control. That makes it easier to see whether the application solves the problem it describes.
Define one useful case
Choose an example that represents the intended user. Use a disposable or public sample when the workflow handles documents or credentials. Do not submit real private data merely to see whether a demo works.
Observe the whole path
Record what you entered, which action you used and what the application returned. Check whether you can inspect or reuse the output. A button animation alone does not prove that the underlying operation completed.
Report the practical limit
Note missing access, unsupported formats and steps that require an external account. Keep mock outputs distinct from live results. A useful project discussion explains the successful case, a limitation and the next test, rather than treating one demonstration as proof of every advertised scenario.
